Hi there, Thanks for visiting my art site. I'm an artist living in Lower Hutt, New Zealand. I specialise in urban landscapes and I have scenes mostly of Wellington, and also various other parts of the world.

As well, in Other Works, I have some fun surreal and abstract works, and also pencil portraits.

UPDATES

March 12 2011: I'm reworking the website right now. I've just completed a double painting Cuba St commission painting. I'll be putting a few new paintings on the website soon, and also I'll have my Dr Sketchy's life drawing gallery up soon. I am still doing the Mighty Mighty markets, and recently tried the Island Day Day in the Bay fair. I've been successful in selling prints.

December 25: Merry Christmas everybody! I've had a good year painting, my prints have been very successful. I'm working on another surreal picture at the moment and about to begin a double commission of Cuba Street. I'm also thinking of reworking this website itself slightly. Although I originally intended to have a very simple website to make the paintings the focus more than the web design, I've improved my web design skills, and may do something fancier with the navigation bar along the top, and also set up prints to be ordered directly on paypal from this site.

March 19: Hey Guys and gals, here's a long update;

At the moment I have artworks on display at Parade Cafe on Oriental Bay and Cafe La La which is on the walkway through Courtenay Place, off of Te Aro Park.

Since the last update I've completed about 4 paintings. One of a beach scene as a Christmas present for my folks. One of Civic Square, one of Cuba Mall, and the other a day time Courtenay Place scene. I'll get around to uploading them to this site soon.

I've been having the market stall at the Cuba St. Night Markets most nights selling prints of my artwork. It's been really successful and I've also enjoyed interacting with friendly people, and getting feedback for my artwork as well. The next Cuba St Night Market is Friday the 26th of March, which is the final market for summer, so it should be a big one.

I've also tried the Mighty Mighty Market on Saturday afternoon, this should be a good one for winter time.

I also entered the Wellington Waterfront painting into the Duxton Hotel Art exhibition, and managed to sell this.

December 18: I had a market stall at the Cuba Street Night Markets, selling prints. It was successful, and I had fun, so will set up a stall again sometime soon.

November 20: Getting there, with the completion of this webpage, it's taking a while, but I'm enjoying doing this. I've recently completed a painting looking towards Macs Brewery and Te Papa.
